Summary: 31 year old female visited me with severe acute pain behind her shoulder blade which started a few days prior to seeing me.
CST session
During my assessment I found that she was in severe pain and her breathing was shallow and movement significantly restricted. With my focus on the area of pain, the session was particularly difficult. Her pain levels increased and decreased as we went through the ‘unwinding’ process. The session ended with her still in pain. I advised that she give it time and to follow up with another session if the pain does not improve.
I followed up with her the next morning and she reported that the pain had completely gone and never returned. She continued to see me periodically over a few months.
